Been seeing some odd patterns emerge over the last quarter at Trane. People leaving and not being replaced, certain roles being absorbed by others, and a general slowdown in hiring for some positions while others are surprisingly active. It's not a full-blown layoff announcement, but it feels like a strategic adjustment is underway. Some of my colleagues are getting anxious, wondering if their departments are next on the chopping block or if this is just a standard cyclical thing. It's definitely a vibe shift. I've heard murmurs too, though nothing concrete. My take is that it's less about 'chopping blocks' and more about optimizing resources.
