Trane Technologies - Anyone else noticing a shift in projects/priorities?

Hey everyone, been at Trane for a few years now, mostly on the engineering side. Lately, I've been sensing a bit of a shift. Some projects that seemed like priorities a few months ago are now on the back burner, and there's a lot more talk about 'streamlining' and 'optimizing' operations across different departments. My manager's been a bit cagey when asked directly about resource allocation, just saying we need to 'focus on core competencies'. It's not outright panic or anything, and I haven't heard any direct whispers of layoffs from people I trust, but the general vibe feels different. More emphasis on efficiency, less on expansion. Anyone else in other divisions or locations picking up on similar signals? Is it just me, or is there a sense that the company might be subtly restructuring or preparing for something? Curious to hear if others are experiencing this or if it's just my department/location.
