Yeah, I hear you. The 'efficiency' talk has been ramping up here too, feels like a constant drumbeat. It's that familiar cycle – acquisition, then the drive for cost savings that seems to land squarely on the folks doing the actual work. More with less is the mantra, and the 'synergy' buzzword just means we're all supposed to magically do more with less time and fewer people. Saw a few people leave my department last month because of the sustained pressure. It's definitely not sustainable long-term if they don't start investing in the teams doing the heavy lifting, instead of just expecting miracles from squeezed resources.
