Anyone else seeing contract roles not being renewed at TransDigm?

Posting this anonymously because, well, you know how it is. I've noticed a few contract positions within my network at TransDigm haven't had their contracts extended recently. Usually, these roles get renewed without much fuss, especially if the project is ongoing. Now, there's a definite hesitation and more scrutiny before approval, from what I've gathered. It's not a full-blown layoff situation, but it feels like a precursor. Budget tightening? Strategic shifts? Just wanted to see if anyone else has observed this pattern, especially if you're in HR or procurement, or work closely with contingent staff. Curious about the scale of this.

Yeah, my team has noticed it too. We've had a couple of contractors whose contracts weren't renewed, and the explanation was pretty vague.
