Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. Haven't seen any official news or concrete layoff reports for Travelers, but I've been feeling a weird vibe lately, especially after the Q3 earnings call. The language around 'efficiency' and 'strategic realignment' felt a bit more pointed than usual. My team's workload hasn't decreased, but there's definitely an undercurrent of 'what if.' Performance review season is also right around the corner, and with the general economic uncertainty and the insurer's recent focus on profitability, it feels like a prime time for some 'right-sizing.' Has anyone else picked up on anything similar? Any intel from your departments or hearsay from colleagues that isn't just pure speculation? Just trying to gauge the general sentiment and if I should be updating my resume proactively. Trying not to panic, but the silence is deafening.
