Travelers: Feeling the pressure in Claims?

Is it just me or has the workload in Claims ramped up significantly over the past month or two? I'm hearing more and more about teams being stretched thin, and managers seem to be under a lot of pressure to hit certain metrics. We lost a supervisor in my unit a few weeks back, and they haven't even posted the role yet. The remaining leads are totally swamped trying to cover. I'm seeing a lot more 'urgent' flags on files and longer turnaround times because people are simply overloaded. It feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and frankly, it's starting to burn people out. Anyone else in Claims experiencing this? Curious if this is a company-wide push or specific to our division. Trying to stay positive, but the constant pressure is getting to me.

I'm definitely feeling it too. It's like there's a constant fire drill going on, and the 'urgent' flags are becoming the norm rather than the exception. It's getting harder to give files the attention they deserve when you're juggling so many. The lack of backfill for key roles is making things even more stressful for those of us left to pick up the slack. Hope things ease up soon.

You're not alone. The pace has been relentless lately, and I've noticed the same strain on resources. It's frustrating when you know quality could suffer because everyone is spread too thin. We're all doing our best, but the volume and the pressure to meet targets are becoming unsustainable. Definitely feeling the burnout creep in with this level of demand.
