Trimble - Is the market impacting us more than we think?

Just wanted to start a thread to see how others at Trimble are feeling about the current economic climate and its potential impact on the company. We operate in a few different sectors, some of which are more resilient than others, but overall, I feel like we're not immune to broader tech slowdowns. I haven't heard any concrete layoff rumors, but the general vibe feels a bit more cautious than usual. Performance reviews seemed to have a bit more sting this year, and there's definitely a lot of talk about efficiency and streamlining wherever possible. Curious to hear from people in different roles and regions – are you seeing hiring freezes, project cancellations, or a general belt-tightening? Or is it business as usual for you? Trying to get a clearer picture of the landscape.

Definitely feeling the cautious vibe. Performance reviews felt a little more intense than previous years, and it seems like there's a lot more scrutiny on project budgets and resource allocation. While I haven't seen any official announcements, the general atmosphere suggests that management is preparing for leaner times. It's wise to be mindful of spending and focus on delivering strong results, as that's always appreciated, regardless of the economic climate.
