Trimble: Anyone else feeling the budget squeeze?

Hey all, just wanted to see if anyone else at Trimble is noticing some weirdness around budgets lately? My team's been told Q3 and Q4 budgets are way tighter than expected, and some planned initiatives are already on hold. No official word on layoffs, and my manager is giving the usual 'business as usual' spiel, but it just feels…off. Project scopes are being trimmed, travel is being scrutinized like never before, and even small software purchases require multiple approvals. It’s making it hard to plan and execute. Is this happening elsewhere in the company, or is it just my department feeling the pinch? Trying to get a sense of the broader picture here. Feels like the company might be preparing for something, even if they aren't saying it directly. Anyone got any intel or similar experiences?

Yeah, I've definitely felt that tightening across the board. We're seeing similar things with approvals for new tools and even some training budgets being slashed. It's creating a bit of friction when trying to get essential resources, and folks are definitely whispering about it. Hopefully, it's a temporary thing and not a sign of bigger issues down the line. Keeps you on your toes, that's for sure.

Interesting to hear others are experiencing this. Our department has had its Q4 projections significantly revised downwards, and we're being asked to find efficiencies everywhere. It's made planning for next year quite challenging. While leadership is emphasizing resilience and focusing on core priorities, the practical impact is that we're all having to be much more judicious with our spending and resource allocation. Definitely a noticeable shift.
