Truist - Any word on Q3/Q4 hiring outlook?

Curious about what the hiring situation looks like at Truist for the rest of the year. I know we've had some hiring freezes in the past, and while I haven't seen any official communication about them now, the pace of new roles opening up seems slower than usual. I've seen a few postings, but it feels more like backfilling than expansion. Anyone in recruiting or management have any insights they can share anonymously? Trying to gauge if it's a general market slowdown hitting Truist, or if there are specific internal factors at play. Been hearing mixed signals and just want to get a clearer picture of where things are headed. Appreciate any honest perspectives.

I'm seeing similar trends from the outside. It's tough to say definitively without inside info, but the job board activity certainly feels less robust than a few months ago. My guess is it's a mix of broader economic caution impacting many large institutions and perhaps some internal strategic shifts at Truist. It's a shame because it makes planning for career moves or team growth a bit of a guessing game. Keep an eye on their investor relations page for any hints in their earnings calls; sometimes they touch on staffing trends there, even if indirectly.
