With all the layoff news over the past year (and frankly, the lack of concrete confirmation on the most recent rumors), I've been keeping an eye on the job boards and company announcements. What strikes me as odd is the almost complete drought of new job postings across the board. It feels like hiring has been completely frozen. I'm not even talking about aggressive growth roles, but just filling essential backfills. Is this a deliberate strategy to let attrition do the work, or is the company genuinely pausing to reassess after the restructuring? Curious if anyone in recruiting or hiring management roles can shed some light, or if others have observed the same thing.
