Is the Atlanta office effectively dead after the latest WARN notice?

I’ve been tracking the WARN filings and the recent notification for the Atlanta office (950 East Paces Ferry) caught my eye. It feels like every time I check, we’re losing another chunk of the team. I’m currently remote, but a lot of the folks I’ve worked with over the last few years were based out of that hub. Is anyone actually left in the Atlanta office at this point, or are we just watching the slow-motion sunset of our physical footprint? I’m trying to figure out if it’s time to polish the resume or if this is just another minor trimming of the fat. It’s hard to focus on sprint goals when you’re constantly checking Slack to see who’s been 'deactivated' overnight. The atmosphere feels so heavy lately. Is anyone else starting to wonder if the 'cloud communications' strategy is just pivoting to 'cloud downsizing' permanently? If you’re at that site or have been impacted by this specific round, please reach out. Just trying to gauge if I should be expecting an invite to a 'check-in' meeting on my calendar tomorrow morning.

The Atlanta office is essentially a ghost town at this point. After the latest round of cuts, it’s clear leadership is prioritizing remote operations over maintaining expensive physical hubs. Most of my former team members in that building were either let go or shifted into fully remote roles months ago. If you are waiting for a recovery or a return to the pre-2022 culture, you are holding onto a dream that no longer aligns with the company's current strategy. It is definitely time to polish your resume and look elsewhere before the next wave hits.

Honestly, watching the footprint shrink like this is pretty demoralizing, but it is the reality of the current tech climate. Twilio isn't interested in legacy office leases anymore; they are moving toward a leaner, distributed model that minimizes overhead. I wouldn't count on the Atlanta site having any real future beyond maybe a shared desk space for the few remaining sales folks. Don't waste your energy wondering who is left in the building—focus that energy on your own mobility. The writing has been on the wall for a long time now.
