Rant: This uncertainty is driving me insane

I'm so over this constant speculation. Every day it's the same: check Blind, check Reddit, scroll through LinkedIn, looking for clues. Is my name on the chopping block? Is my department safe? Are we all doomed? I can't focus on my work, I'm losing sleep, and my anxiety is through the roof. Honestly, just rip the band-aid off already! Either lay us off, or tell us we're safe. This limbo is the worst. I've been busting my butt for this company for 3 years, and this is how they treat us? It's demoralizing. End rant.

I feel you, man. Been there, done that (at a different company, thankfully). The worst part is the wasted energy. You're spending so much time worrying about what *might* happen that you're not being productive. My advice? Start polishing that resume, just in case. Even if you're safe, it's good to have options. Control what you can control, and try to ignore the noise.

Three years is a good run, but let's be real. Loyalty doesn't mean much anymore. Companies are profit-driven, period. While I sympathize with your anxiety, expecting them to be fully transparent is naive. They'll say what benefits *them* most. So yeah, prepare for the worst, hope for the best, but don't be shocked if you're packing your desk next week. Just business.
