Management seems disconnected from day-to-day realities

Just feeling like things are getting a bit out of touch lately. It feels like the expectations coming down from above don't quite align with what we're actually able to accomplish on the ground. Deadlines seem tighter, scope creep is more aggressive, and there's less flexibility when things inevitably go sideways. It's creating a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration for the teams I interact with. Anyone else getting this vibe? Wondering if it's just my department or a broader trend.

I've definitely felt that disconnect too. It seems like strategic decisions are being made without fully grasping the implementation challenges. The push for faster delivery times is constant, but the resources and support aren't always keeping pace. It leads to a lot of hurried work and sometimes compromises on quality, which ultimately impacts customer satisfaction down the line. It's a tough balancing act, and right now it feels like the balance is tipping towards unrealistic expectations.

Yeah, the pressure to deliver more with less is palpable. I've noticed that project scopes are expanding without corresponding adjustments to timelines or budget, which puts a huge strain on the teams. When issues arise, which they inevitably do, there's less room to maneuver. It feels like a constant race against the clock, and frankly, it's not a sustainable pace for producing high-quality work or maintaining team morale.
