Hey everyone, I'm still processing the news from June 3rd. It sounds like a pretty significant number of people were let go, and I'm trying to get a clearer picture of who was impacted. My team thankfully seems safe for now, but the uncertainty is crushing. Anyone have intel on which departments or roles were hit the hardest? Was it engineering, operations, marketing, or a mix? Just trying to understand the scope and if this is a sign of broader restructuring. It's tough seeing so many colleagues affected, especially with such little notice. Any insights would be appreciated.

Man, that's rough news. I heard whispers about it, but didn't realize it was so widespread. My understanding is that a lot of the customer support and regional operations roles took a big hit. There was also some trimming in product development, but that seemed more targeted. It's a scary time for sure, especially with how fast things can change in this industry. Hoping those affected land on their feet quickly.

Really sorry to hear about the layoffs. It's brutal when it hits so close to home. From what I've gathered through internal channels, it seems like the majority of the cuts were concentrated in areas that have seen less growth or have been heavily automated recently. Think some of the back-office functions and less specialized driver support roles. Engineering and core product teams appear to have been largely spared, but it's still a shockwave through the company.
