It's completely understandable to feel that uncertainty and a dip in motivation after such significant layoffs. It's tough seeing talented people leave, and it naturally makes you question things. I'm trying to focus on my current projects and deliver strong results, hoping that demonstrates my value. Connecting with colleagues who are staying, sharing our experiences, and offering each other support seems to be helping. We're all in this together, and leaning on each other is key right now.
I'm sorry to hear about the layoff hitting you and your colleagues hard. The atmosphere must be difficult. While I wasn't directly affected, the uncertainty is palpable. I'm trying to channel some of that nervous energy into upskilling and looking at areas where I can contribute more effectively. It's a good time to reassess priorities and maybe even explore external networks, just to keep options open without necessarily jumping ship immediately. Focusing on what I *can* control has been my strategy.
