It is honestly insulting to watch them frame this as some grand technological advancement when we all know it is just about slashing overhead. They see us as nothing more than a temporary line item to be deleted as soon as the tech is stable enough. The constant push for higher margins doesn't care about the thousands of families relying on this income. It is clear that loyalty is a one-way street, and management has already decided we are obsolete assets they can discard without a second thought.
I have been driving for years, and the atmosphere has completely soured. Everything is about the next quarterly report, and the actual humans doing the work are being squeezed out to appease shareholders who have never spent a day behind the wheel. They use these high-minded buzzwords to mask the reality that they are actively engineering our exit. It is incredibly frustrating to build a platform’s reputation only to be treated like an inconvenience once they think they can do it cheaper with machines.
