I've definitely noticed a change, even as a customer. It feels like they're trying to pivot into something different, but it's not entirely clear what. Sometimes the staff seem a little less engaged, and I've seen fewer of the usual promotions. Maybe they're investing more in online or a different customer experience? It's hard to say, but the overall atmosphere does feel a bit less… vibrant than it used to be.
As a brand affiliate, I've also felt a shift in how things are communicated. There's a lot more emphasis on data and analytics, and less on the more personal, community-driven aspects that made Ulta feel special. It's like the focus is becoming more corporate and less about the passion for beauty that initially drew so many of us in. Curious to see where this leads.
