Ulta Grand Rapids WARN notice - what's going on?

Just saw the WARN notice for Grand Rapids, MI - 79 employees affected, effective mid-July. This is the second pretty significant layoff notice we've seen recently, on top of the general 'vibe shift' people have been talking about. Feels like more than just seasonal adjustments. Anyone in that region or with insight into corporate operations have any intel on the scale of this or what might be driving it? Trying to understand if this is isolated or part of a larger trend. My store has been eerily quiet lately, and it's making me nervous about our own team's stability. Hoping for the best but bracing for impact.

That's concerning to hear about the Grand Rapids location. While WARN notices can be for various reasons, a second one coupled with the general sentiment about operational changes does make you wonder if there are larger strategic shifts happening behind the scenes. It's tough when these things impact so many people. Hopefully, those affected can find new opportunities quickly. It would be interesting to get clarity from corporate if possible, but I suspect that's unlikely.
