Management's been throwing around 'optimization' and 'streamlining' for months now. We've all been through these cycles before, but this time it feels... different. There's a palpable tension in the air, like we're all waiting for the other shoe to drop. No official announcements, of course, but you hear things. Rumors about certain positions being consolidated, departments being 'realigned.' It’s starting to make me nervous about job security, especially with how much focus there is on cutting costs. Anyone else getting this vibe or have any actual intel beyond the usual hallway chatter? I'm trying to prepare myself mentally, but the uncertainty is rough.
