Anyone else feeling the increased scrutiny on productivity?

Lately, it feels like every minute is being accounted for. There's a lot of talk circulating about potential restructuring and efficiency drives, and it's translating into more direct pressure on the ground. Are supervisors suddenly watching us more closely? Are metrics being tightened up across the board? I'm not saying we shouldn't be productive, but it feels like a noticeable shift in the last few months. It’s creating a bit of an anxious atmosphere, especially with all the background noise about potential layoffs. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide push or if I'm just in a particularly scrutinized department. Trying to stay focused, but the constant pressure is starting to wear on me.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the increased pressure here too. It feels like there's a microscope on every single move, and the expectations are just climbing. Been hearing the same whispers about changes coming down the line. Just trying to stay focused and do the job, but the constant feeling of being watched is definitely wearing thin. Hopefully, whatever they're planning actually leads to a better situation for everyone, instead of just more stress.

I'm in the same boat. The atmosphere has changed, for sure. Supervisors are definitely more hands-on, and the targets seem to be moving targets at this point. It's understandable that the company wants to be efficient, but the way it's being implemented feels like it's creating more anxiety than actual improvements. Just hoping for some clarity soon on what the long-term plan is, because this current state of uncertainty isn't sustainable.
