Heard whispers of restructuring - anyone else nervous?

Been at Unity for almost 5 years now, in the engine team. Lately, things have felt…off. My manager's been super vague, and a couple of folks I used to see grabbing coffee with are suddenly MIA. I know the market's rough for everyone, but has anyone else heard anything specific about potential restructuring or…worse? I'm trying not to panic, but I've got a mortgage to pay and this is making me sweat. Is it just paranoia, or is something brewing?

I've been hearing similar things, though not in the engine team. The lack of transparency is what's truly unsettling. It could be nothing, just normal corporate jitters, but the radio silence fuels speculation. My advice? Polish up your resume, quietly network, and be prepared for the worst. It's better to be proactive than caught off guard. Hope it's all just rumors, but CYA.

Honestly, this happens every year. Remember the Unity Connect fiasco? Or the Bolt acquisition? There's always some 'restructuring' going on. It's part of the Silicon Valley experience. Deep breaths. Unless you're directly called into a meeting with HR, don't borrow trouble. Focus on delivering your work, and try to ignore the water cooler gossip.
