I'm so tired of the uncertainty...

Seriously, every single day I go into work wondering if it's going to be my last. This constant low-level anxiety is draining me. It's impossible to focus on my actual job when I'm constantly checking LinkedIn and refreshing news sites. The higher-ups need to be more transparent. Radio silence only makes it worse! I put in long hours on the rendering team, trying to deliver quality work, but it's hard to care when the company seems to care so little about its employees. I feel like my resume has been my main focus lately.

I completely understand how you feel. Uncertainty is the worst. The lack of communication from leadership is a huge problem; it creates a breeding ground for anxiety and rumors. When you're constantly worried about job security, it's impossible to do your best work. My advice is to document everything you do, keep your resume updated (you're already on it, good!), and start networking. It's better to be prepared than to be caught off guard. You're not alone in this.

Honestly, every tech company goes through periods of instability. It's part of the industry. While I agree that more transparency would be ideal, demanding it won't necessarily make a difference. Focus on what you can control: your skills, your performance, and your network. Also, take a step back and evaluate whether this role is actually fulfilling to you anymore. Maybe it's a good opportunity to explore other options, regardless of layoffs. Don't let the uncertainty paralyze you.
