Anyone else worried about the Amazon partnership wind-down?

Seeing a lot of noise about UPS cutting jobs, especially with the Amazon deal winding down. I've been here a few years now, and the atmosphere has been tense lately. Management is tight-lipped, which isn't helping. We all know Amazon was a huge chunk of business, and while they say they're diversifying, it's hard not to worry about what that means for our departments. Just had a quiet lunch with a couple of colleagues from Operations, and the vibe was definitely 'what's next?'. No official word on any big layoff events, but the whispers are getting louder. Has anyone heard anything concrete, or is it just the usual pre-holiday jitters amplified by this Amazon news?

It's understandable why there's concern. That Amazon contract was substantial, and its conclusion naturally raises questions about how UPS plans to fill that gap. While diversification is the stated strategy, uncertainty breeds anxiety, especially when official communication is sparse. Folks on the ground need clear updates to feel secure about their roles and the company's direction. Hopefully, management will provide more transparency soon.

I'm feeling it too. The 'what's next?' vibe is palpable. It's tough when you're used to a certain level of business and you see a significant piece potentially shifting.
