Okay, I might be jumping the gun here, but I'm starting to see some signs that layoffs might be happening already, even if they aren't officially announced. My department had a 'restructuring' meeting last week, and a few people, mostly from the administrative side, are suddenly gone. No fanfare, just… gone. And then I saw a post from someone claiming UPS cut 48k workers. That number sounds huge, but I haven't seen any official confirmation. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Like, did your team shrink? Did you hear about people being let go unexpectedly? It's making me nervous about my own position, especially with all the noise about the Amazon deal ending. Any information or similar experiences would be really helpful right now.
