Whispers about corporate restructuring - Any inside info?

Been hearing some background noise about potential corporate level adjustments. Not the warehouse or driver side, but the folks behind the scenes. Things like 'streamlining' and 'efficiency' are the buzzwords, which usually translate to headcount reduction. Has anyone in a corporate function at UPS heard anything more concrete? I'm in a supporting role and we haven't had any direct communication, but there's definitely a different energy lately. More closed-door meetings, less transparency on new projects. It's making people nervous, especially with how much the media is talking about job cuts across the board. If there's a real plan in motion, knowing even a little bit would help manage expectations. Anyone have any insights, even anecdotal, about what might be brewing upstairs?

Yeah, I've picked up on that vibe too, though I'm on the ground floor. Seems like every few years we go through this cycle of 'optimizing' that ends up feeling like a headcount shuffle for those not directly moving packages. It's always vague until it's not. Hoping for some clarity soon, but not holding my breath.

My team's been feeling it too. Lots of 'strategic reviews' happening and the usual whispers about 'synergies.' People are definitely a bit on edge, wondering what 'streamlining' actually means for their departments. Management seems unusually tight-lipped, which just fuels the speculation. Hopefully, it's just rearranging deck chairs and not a major overhaul.
