Anyone else feeling the unease at USB? What's the vibe?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on some weird vibes at U.S. Bank lately. It's been pretty quiet on the official layoff front, but there's definitely a lot of whispering in the hallways and online about potential cuts. My department has been under a microscope, and there have been some 'reorganizations' that feel like prelude to something bigger. Performance reviews seem extra harsh, and there's a general sense of 'hunkering down.' Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling this way? What are people hearing from their managers or leadership? Any specific divisions feeling the heat more than others? Trying to gauge the overall sentiment and if it's time to start dusting off the resume, or if this is just general banking industry jitters. Appreciate any insights people are willing to share.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. Performance reviews have been a nightmare lately, and the constant talk of 'optimization' is making everyone nervous. It feels like they're just waiting for the right moment to pull the trigger on something, and the uncertainty is definitely affecting morale. Lots of good people are starting to polish their resumes, just in case.

I've been with USB for a while and this feels different. The 'reorganizations' are constant, and it seems like departments are being shuffled around without much clear purpose. While there haven't been major public announcements, the undercurrent of anxiety is palpable. People are definitely more guarded and less collaborative than usual, which is a shame.
