Alright, need to get this off my chest. I've been hearing some chatter recently, nothing confirmed, mind you, but definitely more than just background noise. People are talking about potential restructuring or cost-cutting measures at Valero. It's not tied to any specific division yet, which is the weird part. Just general unease. I know there haven't been any official announcements, and the company is generally pretty solid, but the economic climate out there is rough, and you can't help but wonder. Is anyone else picking up on these whispers? Trying not to panic, but the silence from official channels when there's this much talk is deafening. Any insight or actual information would be greatly appreciated. Just hoping it's all smoke and mirrors, but wanted to put it out there to see what others are hearing or feeling. Hoping for the best, but preparing for potential reality.

Been with Valero for a while, and while I've seen rumors come and go, this one feels a bit different. The general economic headwinds are definitely a factor everyone's watching. Haven't heard anything concrete on the ground about layoffs. Valero's usually pretty transparent when things are shifting. Could be just people speculating due to the broader market, or maybe some internal shuffling. It's always stressful when uncertainty creeps in, but I'm choosing to focus on the work. Hopefully, leadership will provide clarity soon if there's anything to report.
