Hey everyone, Been with VeriSign for a bit now, and lately, the vibe feels… different. Not in a bad way necessarily, but there's a noticeable slowdown in project starts and some teams seem to be stretched thin without backfills. I haven't heard any concrete rumors about layoffs, and honestly, the company is pretty stable overall, but I'm wondering if anyone else is picking up on this? Is it just the general tech market jitters, or is there something specific happening internally? I've seen a couple of projects get pushed back and some roles that were open for a while are still open. Usually, VeriSign is pretty good about keeping things moving. Wondering if this is a sign of things to come or just a temporary lull. Curious to hear if others have noticed similar trends or have any insights. Trying not to overthink it, but it's hard not to wonder what the future holds.

I've been at VSN for a while too and definitely feel a shift. It's more of a 'hunker down and focus on essentials' kind of mood than overt panic. Seems like they're being cautious with new initiatives and probably filling roles strategically rather than broadly. Could be market trends, could be internal planning for what's next. Hard to say without more info, but it's not exactly business as usual.

Yeah, I've noticed a bit of a slowdown too. Projects that might have gotten the green light a year ago seem to be in longer review cycles now. My team hasn't had open positions backfilled quickly either. It feels more like a belt-tightening and prioritization phase, which isn't unheard of in this industry, rather than something dramatic like a freeze or restructuring. Just focusing on core business.
