Hey folks, been seeing some weird vibes around VeriSign lately. Not hearing any concrete layoff news, but there's definitely an undercurrent of unease. Been here a few years and things always felt pretty stable, but lately, there's been more talk about restructuring and 'optimizing resources'. My team's project scope has been quietly dialed back, and a couple of senior folks have been 'transitioned' out, though management insists it's not layoffs. Just curious if anyone else is picking up on this or if I'm just overthinking things. Are you seeing any signs in your departments? Wondering if it's worth updating the resume just in case.

I've been feeling something similar, honestly. It's that quiet shift in atmosphere that's hard to pinpoint but definitely noticeable. The 'optimizing resources' phrase has been making the rounds on my end too, and it never feels like good news when management starts talking like that. Projects getting trimmed and experienced people leaving, even if it's not outright layoffs, signals a change in direction or priorities. It's unsettling when the groundwork you've been building on feels like it's becoming less secure.
