Been at VeriSign for a couple of years now, and lately, things feel... quiet. Usually, there's a buzz about new roles opening up or internal transfers. But for the past few months, it feels like the faucet has been turned off. Recruiters I know are saying the same thing - not many requisitions coming through for VeriSign. It's not just my team; I've heard similar chatter from friends in different departments. No official word, of course, but the lack of new hires and the general slowdown in onboarding is pretty noticeable. Makes you wonder if budget cuts are happening behind the scenes, even if they aren't officially announced as layoffs. Anyone else picking up on this or have any insights? Curious to hear if others are seeing the same patterns.

I've been with VeriSign for a while too and have definitely noticed the shift. The usual flow of new talent seems to have dried up. While there's no official confirmation, the silence from HR and the general lack of movement internally does make you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. It’s a bit unsettling, especially when you're used to seeing the company grow and bring in fresh perspectives. Hopefully, it's just a temporary pause and not indicative of bigger issues.
