VeriSign - Is it just me or are things slowing down?

Checking in with fellow VeriSigners. Feels like the pace has really slowed down in the last quarter or so. Project timelines are being extended, new initiatives seem to be on hold, and there's a general 'wait and see' attitude across a lot of teams I interact with. Management's messaging is still positive, talking about long-term strategy and market leadership, but the day-to-day reality feels different. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a typical cycle for the company, or is there something else going on? Starting to get a bit nervous about job security, even though there's no official word. Just trying to gauge the general sentiment out there.

I've noticed a similar trend. It feels like there's a bit of a holding pattern across the board. We're getting lots of updates about future plans, but actual execution on many fronts seems to have stalled. It's a bit frustrating when you're trying to move projects forward. I'm hoping this is just a temporary lull before things pick up again, but it's hard to shake the feeling that momentum has stalled.

Interesting you bring this up. From my perspective, it feels like a strategic pivot is underway, and things often slow down during such transitions. Management might be focused on bigger picture shifts rather than immediate project velocity. It's possible they're reallocating resources or reassessing priorities, which can understandably impact day-to-day operations and timelines for a while. It's definitely something to keep an eye on.
