VeriSign - Slowdown in project timelines?

Hey everyone, Been at VeriSign for a couple of years now and things have been pretty steady. Lately though, I've noticed a definite slowdown in how quickly projects are moving. It feels like approvals are taking longer, and there's a general sense of things being put on hold. It's not a huge thing, but enough that it's become a recurring observation across a few different teams I interact with. No official word on anything, and my manager is saying everything is normal. But it's hard not to get a little antsy when you see these subtle shifts. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my imagination, or are others seeing similar patterns? Wondering if this is a precursor to something, or just a general market adjustment impacting us in ways we don't see directly. Curious to hear what others think. Trying to stay objective here but it's hard not to speculate a bit.

I've been seeing similar things. It's not just one team either, seems like a broader trend across the company. Getting sign-offs on even minor changes feels like pulling teeth these days. I wonder if it's a new internal process or maybe just a reflection of the current market conditions affecting resource allocation. Curious to hear if anyone else has insights into the cause.

That's interesting you're noticing a slowdown too. While my manager also insists everything's business as usual, the pace definitely feels different than it did even six months ago. Projects that would have been greenlit quickly are now in a holding pattern. It's making planning much harder and is a bit frustrating for those of us trying to hit deadlines. Let's hope things pick up soon.
