Just wanted to start a thread to gauge the general sentiment across different teams at VeriSign. Things feel... quiet, maybe too quiet? I haven't heard any direct news, but there's definitely a subtle shift in the air compared to a few months ago. Is anyone seeing changes in project priorities, hiring freezes, or even just a general slowdown in activity? My own team has been pretty heads-down, but there's an undercurrent of 'what if.' Curious to hear if others are feeling this, or if it's just me overthinking things. Trying to stay positive, but it's tough when the outside world is so volatile. Any perspectives are welcome, good or bad.

Yeah, I've picked up on that too. It's not anything concrete, just a general feeling of things slowing down a bit. Our roadmap seems a little less defined than it used to be, and onboarding for new roles has definitely taken longer. Maybe it's just the usual end-of-year lull, but it does feel a bit different this time around. Hope it's nothing major, but keeping an eye on it.

Interesting that you're feeling it as well. On my side, we haven't seen any outright freezes, but there's been a definite pause on initiating new, large-scale projects. More of a 'finish what we've started' mentality. The focus seems to be on maintaining existing infrastructure and services, which is understandable, but it does change the dynamic. Less of the 'moonshot' projects and more steady-as-she-goes.
