Just wanted to provide a data point for everyone in the Providence group who got hit today. I received my formal separation packet about two hours after the meeting. The severance is standard—calculated based on tenure with a few extra weeks tacked on, plus the usual health benefits continuation. It’s not terrible, but definitely not as generous as what we saw during the previous restructuring rounds. Make sure you read the fine print regarding the stock options and the vesting schedule; don’t sign anything until you’ve had a chance to run it by someone who knows labor law. It’s a bitter pill to swallow after putting in so many late nights here. Stay strong everyone, and let's keep each other updated if there’s any movement on the career counseling services they promised to set up.

Sorry to hear about the news, but thanks for the heads-up on the packet. It’s frustrating that they’ve tightened the belt on the severance compared to previous rounds, especially given the stock performance lately. Everyone in that group should definitely look closely at the RSU vesting acceleration clauses—sometimes those can be tricky if you're right on the edge of a cliff date. Take your time reviewing everything before signing off, and don't hesitate to push back if anything looks off regarding your tenure calculation.

That sounds like a rough day, and I'm sorry you're going through this. It’s pretty disappointing to see the severance packages shrinking when the company is still doing so well financially. Definitely double-check those stock option details; companies often try to claw back unvested portions or set short exercise windows that can really catch you off guard. Make sure you get all your personal files off your work devices before they lock you out completely. Wishing you the best of luck with the next steps.
