It's easy to scale up when things are booming, but the market feels a bit more uncertain now. I've heard whispers about budget reviews and a more conservative approach to new hires. I've been at Vertex for a while and can confirm that feeling. It's true, there was a significant ramp-up, and now it seems like things have plateaued in some areas. Interesting observation. I haven't personally felt that we're over-hiring, but I do think the company is being more strategic about roles now.
