Hiring freeze rumors at Vulcan?

Been hearing whispers through the grapevine that Vulcan might be implementing a hiring freeze. Again, no official announcement or anything concrete, but a few open positions I was aware of seem to have gone silent. My manager also mentioned 'budgetary reviews' in a recent team meeting, which is never a good sign. It makes me wonder if this is a precursor to something bigger, like potential workforce adjustments. Has anyone else heard anything about hiring being put on hold, or seen similar signs of belt-tightening? Curious to get a pulse check from different departments and locations. It’s making me a bit uneasy about future growth within the company.

I've noticed a similar slowdown in recruitment for certain roles within my department. While I haven't heard any direct talk of a hiring freeze, the 'budgetary reviews' comment is definitely unsettling. It feels like a tightening of the belt, and it's hard not to worry about what that might mean long-term, especially given the current economic climate. Hopefully, it's just a temporary measure and not a sign of more significant changes to come.
