Hey everyone, been with Vulcan for a few years now and things feel… different lately. Management is talking a lot about 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing resource allocation' in town halls, which is corporate speak I know, but it feels more pointed than usual. No official word of layoffs, but there's a definite undercurrent of 'belt-tightening' in the air. Been seeing some reorg talk in my department, shuffling responsibilities around. Anyone else picking up on this? Curious if it's just my region or a broader trend. Wondering if it's worth polishing the resume just in case.
