Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter about potential cuts across industries, and while there's no official word from Vulcan yet, I'm curious what the general sentiment is out there. Is anyone noticing any whispers, hiring freezes, or unusual project slowdowns at their location? Things have felt a bit… stagnant lately in my division, but it's hard to tell if it's just seasonal or something more. Trying to gauge if it's worth worrying about or just general market noise. At my yard, things are humming along as usual. We've got a steady stream of trucks coming and going, and the order board looks pretty full for the next few weeks. Haven't heard any rumblings about layoffs or slowdowns from management. Maybe it depends on the specific region or division you're in? We're mostly focused on construction projects here, which seem to be pretty robust right now.

Honestly, it's been a bit quieter than expected this past month or so. We've seen a slight decrease in some of the larger, ongoing contracts, and the pace feels a little less urgent than it did earlier in the year. Not sure if it's a widespread thing or just our particular operation. No official announcements, but the general mood is a bit more cautious. Keeping an eye on things, but trying not to jump to conclusions.
