I feel this so hard. I've only been here 5 years in apparel and it's already draining. The new metrics they keep pushing are impossible to meet with the skeleton crew we have. Every day is a fire drill. I'm not sure how much longer I can maintain the level of stress. I'm looking for something else but it's hard when you're this burnt out to even look.
Fifteen years is a long haul, so props for sticking it out. But maybe it *is* time for a change, layoff or not. I know leaving is scary, especially with the uncertainty, but maybe start discreetly looking at other companies or even training programs? Update your resume, see what's out there. Might be a good way to regain a sense of control.
