RANT: Seriously considering jumping ship before the worst happens

I'm so over this. I've been busting my butt in the tech org for 5 years, and the constant uncertainty is exhausting. Every other week there's a new 'town hall' with vague promises and corporate jargon, but the underlying message is always the same: 'Do more with less.' I'm tired of the endless reorgs, the shifting priorities, and the feeling that my job could disappear at any moment. The stress is affecting my health and my relationships. I'm actively applying for other roles, even if it means taking a pay cut. My mental well-being is worth more than a paycheck. I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

I hear you. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Five years is a long haul in any tech org, especially one that sounds as chaotic as yours. Don't let the golden handcuffs keep you chained. Your health and well-being are worth more than a paycheck. Start prioritizing your applications and interview prep. Get out before you burn out completely.

Honestly, this sounds pretty standard for any large corporation. 'Do more with less' is practically a mantra. Before you jump ship, have you tried talking to your manager about your concerns? Maybe there's room to adjust your workload or refocus your priorities. Sometimes a direct conversation can make a difference, but yeah I understand that it's tiring when every department meeting is just PR.
