Is anyone else feeling the 'Zaslav squeeze' lately?

It’s getting impossible to get any actual work done when half the team is either on the chopping block or currently interviewing elsewhere. The 'more with less' directive was already unsustainable, but now it’s just pure chaos. Every week there’s a new pivot or a project cancellation, and we’re left to pick up the pieces with a skeleton crew. I honestly don't know who is left to do the actual output at this point. I’ve been looking for an exit for three months now, but the market for media roles is just as depressed as the sentiment in the office. Is anyone actually feeling secure in their roles, or are we all just waiting for our turn? I'm curious if anyone who survived the earlier rounds is actually seeing any upside, or if it's just more work and less support until they eventually tap you for the next WARN notice.

It’s honestly soul-crushing watching the constant pivot culture destroy what was once a decent place to build a career. You’re not alone; the morale here is non-existent because we’re all just waiting for the next round of cuts to hit. It’s hard to stay invested in projects that get axed before they even have a chance to launch. I’ve stopped caring about the 'long-term vision' and am strictly focusing on getting my resume out before the next round of layoffs makes the market even more saturated than it already is. Get out while you can.
