The timing on this is honestly disgusting, even by industry standards. Letting people go on Christmas Eve isn't just bad business, it's morally bankrupt. I’ve been through three rounds of layoffs here over the last two years, and it never gets easier. To those in the South Santa Fe office, please don't just sit there waiting for the axe to drop. Start downloading your portfolio, update your contacts, and get your resume out into the world tonight. This company clearly views us as nothing more than line items on a spreadsheet, so prioritize your own security before that holiday deadline hits.
Another day, another round of cuts. At this point, I don't think anyone at WBD is actually surprised, just exhausted. It’s hard to stay focused on deliverables when you're constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if you’re next. It’s a toxic cycle of anxiety that’s drained every ounce of creativity out of the building. To anyone currently dealing with the uncertainty, take a breath and try to disconnect if you can. The constant refreshing of the inbox is only going to drive you mad. Focus on what you can control, network outside of the bubble, and remember that your value isn't defined by these cruel corporate policies.
