Anyone looking at exit strategies for WM?

With the current economic outlook and some of the whispers going around, I've started thinking more seriously about having a backup plan if things get dicey at Waste Management. For those who have been through this at other companies or are actively exploring options, what's your advice? Updating the resume, networking, brushing up on skills? Are there specific departments or roles within WM that seem more secure, or conversely, more vulnerable? I'm not looking for specific layoff numbers or dates, just general preparedness strategies. It feels prudent to be proactive rather than reactive. Any tips on how to make a transition smoother if it comes to that would be greatly appreciated.
