Just saw the official WARN filing drop for the Ontario facility. 42 people getting the axe on March 31, 2026. The notice was filed back in April last year, so this has been in the works for a long time. It feels like they are just slowly trimming the headcount to pad the margins before the end of the quarter. For those of us still sitting in our desks, it’s honestly getting exhausting waiting for the next announcement. Does anyone have visibility if there are other sites targeted for the same date? Management is playing the usual 'business as usual' game, but the atmosphere in the office is dead. If you’re at the Ontario site, start updating your resume today if you haven't already. Don't wait for them to walk you out.

It is honestly brutal how they drag these things out. Filing a WARN notice almost a year in advance just creates this constant atmosphere of dread where everyone is looking over their shoulder instead of focusing on their work. Management loves talking about 'operational efficiency' and 'streamlining,' but it’s always at the expense of the people who actually keep the facilities running. If you are hearing rumors about other sites, stay vigilant, but try not to let the speculation burn you out before you have a concrete answer.

The corporate strategy here is becoming painfully obvious. They prioritize those quarterly margins above everything else, and we are just numbers on a spreadsheet to them. It is frustrating that they keep the staff in the dark about the full scope of these cuts. My advice is to update your resume and start quietly testing the waters elsewhere now. If they are trimming this aggressively in Ontario, nobody should assume their own site is safe from the next round of 'cost optimization.'
