Feeling the squeeze at WEC - Anyone else?

Lately, my day-to-day at WEC has felt different. Workload seems to be increasing while visible support or resources feel like they're shrinking. It's not just my team; I've heard similar sentiments from folks in other divisions. We're seeing a lot of talk about efficiency and "streamlining operations," which makes me a bit uneasy given the current economic climate. Has anyone else experienced a noticeable shift in management's tone or priorities recently? Any specific projects that seem to be under a microscope, or perhaps roles that seem less secure? Trying to understand if this is a company-wide trend or if I'm just hyper-aware. Would love to hear from others who might be feeling this same subtle pressure. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to worry a little.

I've definitely felt a similar pressure lately. It seems like the 'streamlining' talk is translating into more tasks with fewer hands to do them. Management's focus seems to be squarely on the bottom line, and while I understand that, it's making things pretty stressful on the ground. Hoping it's a temporary phase and not a permanent shift in how things are run.

You're not alone. The "efficiency" push has certainly become more pronounced. While some of it might be necessary, it feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and the communication around these changes could be clearer. It would be good to hear more about the long-term vision behind these initiatives, especially with the current economic outlook.
