WEC Energy: Anyone else noticing more 'reorganizations'?

Hey everyone, been at WEC for a few years now and lately it feels like there's been a lot of talk about 'realigning teams' and 'streamlining processes'. Honestly, it feels like a thinly veiled way to shuffle people around, maybe consolidate roles, or even push people out without explicitly saying layoffs. Is anyone else seeing this at their department? My team hasn't had any official cuts, but the vibe is definitely a bit tense. We keep hearing about 'efficiency' and 'synergy' which usually translates to less headcount. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a particularly 'reorg-heavy' area. Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially in different divisions. Is this a precursor to something bigger or just the usual corporate buzzwords?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a similar pattern over the last year or so. It feels like there's a constant drumbeat of 'optimization' and 'structural changes' coming down from corporate. While I understand the need to adapt, the frequent shuffling and redefinition of roles can be disorienting. It makes it hard to feel settled in your position when the goalposts seem to keep moving. Hopefully, it leads to some actual clarity and not just more corporate jargon.

I'm seeing it too, and it's making things pretty uncomfortable. The constant 'reorganizations' and talk of 'synergy' feels like a prelude to something less positive. People are definitely on edge, wondering if their roles are secure or if they're next to be 'streamlined'. It's a shame because the work itself is often interesting, but this atmosphere of uncertainty is draining. Hope it settles down soon and we can get back to focusing on the actual tasks at hand.
