Anyone else feel like things are shifting at Welltower?

Hey everyone, Been with Welltower for a few years now and generally it's been a solid gig. Good people, interesting work in a stable industry. However, lately I've been getting a weird vibe. Been hearing whispers and seeing some subtle changes in how things are being managed. Nothing concrete to point to, no official announcements, but it feels like maybe there's some internal restructuring or belt-tightening happening behind the scenes. Is anyone else picking up on this? Are there budget freezes I'm not aware of, or changes in project prioritization? Just trying to get a sense of whether this is a widespread feeling or if I'm just overthinking things. Curious to hear if anyone else has noticed anything similar or has any insights into what might be going on. Trying to stay optimistic, but also want to be prepared if there's something brewing.

I've definitely noticed a change in the atmosphere lately. It's hard to put a finger on, but the usual flow just feels a bit off. There's a new urgency in some meetings, and a few projects seem to have been quietly shelved. Not sure if it's just me, but it feels like the company is bracing for something, or perhaps repositioning itself for future growth. Curious to see if anyone has more concrete info.

Interesting you bring this up. I've been feeling it too, a subtle shift in priorities and a bit more pressure on certain teams. It could be a normal business cycle, or maybe there's a strategic pivot underway that hasn't been communicated broadly yet. The industry is certainly dynamic, so adaptation is key. Hoping for more clarity soon, as it does create some uncertainty.
