Just curious if anyone else is feeling this vibe at Welltower. It feels like things have been pretty quiet on the big strategic front for a while now. No major announcements, no obvious shifts in direction that I can see from my corner of the company. Is it just me, or are we in a bit of a holding pattern? I keep wondering if this is a sign of stability, or if maybe there's some internal restructuring or changes happening that aren't being communicated widely. Workload is steady, but there's no buzz about growth or new initiatives either. Just want to see if anyone else is picking up on this, or if my team's perspective is too narrow. Is this just the nature of real estate investment in the current climate, or is there something specific going on at WT?

I've been wondering the same thing. It's definitely a noticeable quiet period. While steady workloads are good, the lack of visible strategic pivots does make you pause. It could signal a period of consolidation and optimization after recent growth, or perhaps the groundwork for something bigger is being laid behind the scenes. It feels like we're in a 'steady as she goes' phase. Sometimes, that's a good thing – it means the existing strategy is working and there's no immediate need for drastic changes.
