I'm in the same boat and honestly, the silence from leadership is deafening. Five years here too, and it feels like we’re just numbers on a spreadsheet being shuffled around to make the Q4 earnings look better. My supervisor hasn’t said a word, and the complete lack of transparency is infuriating. I’ve heard rumors that this is just the beginning of a broader restructuring, but who knows at this point? Don't hold your breath waiting for HR to give us anything real. I'm already updating my resume because I’ve lost all faith in the corporate messaging.
That update hit like a ton of bricks today. Look, I’ve been around long enough to know when the writing is on the wall. 'Optimizing our footprint' is just fancy corporate speak for cutting costs at the expense of our livelihoods. It’s definitely not just local; this has been in the works for a while, and the Scottsdale location was clearly the target for a long time. It sucks, but we need to stay practical. Focus on your network and start looking elsewhere immediately because relying on company updates right now is a total waste of time.
