Question about West Pharma's hiring freeze rumors

Hi all, I'm currently interviewing with West Pharmaceutical and have reached the later stages. However, I've seen some scattered mentions online and heard through the grapevine that there might be a soft hiring freeze or at least a significant slowdown in hiring across the board. The recruiter has been very positive and still has me moving forward, which is good, but I'm starting to get a little anxious given the current economic climate and the general biotech/pharma sector sentiment. Has anyone in the company or who has recently interviewed experienced or heard anything about hiring being paused or significantly reduced? Trying to gauge the situation before getting too invested. Any realistic insight would be helpful – don't want to get my hopes up if they're quietly shutting the doors to new hires.
